Consumed by the Nothing

I'm not going to hide it, this post is a comparison to the NeverEnding Story. It does not contain a joke about "Say my name!" - unless that counts. I realize not that two of the biggest challenges that I face are not corporeal. First, I challenge the great apathy that has been consuming many of my friends peers and the other. Apathy is still the lack of inspiration due to human thought being consumed by iPods, Television, World of Warcraft. Second, I am challenged by the reported economic crisis that is bearing down on public and private funding... but that'll have to wait until after this fun apathy joke.

G'Mork Wolf on The Nothing: The emptiness that is left, like a despair destroying this world and I have been trying to help you because people with no hope are easy to control. Whoever has control has absolute power. I am a servant of the power behind the nothing.

Kurtis McCartney on Apathy: The emptiness that is left, like a despair destroying this world and I have been trying to help you because people with no hope are easy to control. Whoever has control has absolute power. I am a servant of the power behind the nothing.

Ok, maybe that was a bad joke based on a bad paraphrasing from the 1983 film. But I kept on rolling it around in my head until it fit. Now the writers block is back... g'night.
